Seventh Sense was engaged by Emirates Palace Hotel Abu Dhabi to develop an integrated Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) incorporating the existing Emirates Palace documents into the new EHSMS and ensuring that the integrated system meets and exceeds the goals and targets as set forth by the Abu Dhabi EHSMS initiative.
In September 2011, Seventh Sense provided EHS Awareness training to more than 2,300 employees and long-term contractors for the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Delivery of an interactive awareness workshop to a large audience of trainees from diverse cultural, social and professional background with variable level of environment, health and safety experience is the unique feature of the training solution provided for this highly reputable client. Seventh Sense has been further engaged by Emirates Palace to conduct more specific and specialized Risk Assessment training with the elements of Train The Trainer content for nominated employees, which aims to train and develop these employees into competent internal risk assessors, as well as on the job trainers in assisting the EHS management of the hotel in identifying and further developing internal talent.
The EHSMS is an extremely important system within Emirates Palace as the hotel regularly hosts VVIPs and Political Dignitaries from around the world in addition to its international guests. Collaborating with the Management Team at the Emirates Palace, Seventh Sense conducted on-site risk assessments; prepared hazard identification reports; conducted workshops with Department Heads; established EHS Policy as well as Targets and KPIs; and developed Management Programs and Roles and Responsibilities and the overall EHSMS. The Seventh Sense team, Emirates Palace Hotel Management Team and EHS Committee worked hand in hand to provide guidance and EHS expertise to ensure the EHSMS is compliant, fully implemented, integrated, and remains sustainable throughout all Emirates Palace Hotel Abu Dhabi operations.
