CHILDREN ON THE EDGE
The Burmese Refugee Children Education and Welfare Fund

In line with our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, Seventh Sense has signed a partnership agreement with not-for-profit organisation, Children on the Edge.

Children on the Edge, founded in 1990 by Anita Roddick (the founder of The Body Shop), exists to help the most marginalised and vulnerable children worldwide, those literally ‘on the edge’.

Seventh Sense has partnered with Children on the Edge to establish The Burmese Refugee Children Education and Welfare Fund, focusing on the refugees fleeing the ethnic cleansing in Burma. Funds donated by Seventh Sense are directed towards supporting the Children on the Edge refugee projects on the Burma borders of India, Bangladesh and Thailand. In addition to financial assistance, Seventh Sense will contribute volunteer assistance to Children on the Edge Burmese refugee projects, and  Seventh Sense staff shall be visiting certain locations to provide hands on assistance.

Finally, Seventh Sense will work with Children on the Edge to actively promote the Burmese Refugee Children Education and Welfare Fund with its Clients and in the areas in which it operates. Through the active promotion of Children on the Edge and the Burmese Refugee Children Education and Welfare Fund, Seventh Sense aims to offer opportunities for our Clients and other stakeholders to actively participate in events, activities and funding support in order to contribute to such a worthy cause.
