Having trained and developed his career in Canada, Brent is a member of Seventh Sense’s EHS Management Consulting Team, responsible for the Health and Safety aspects of our projects.
Brent brings with him more than 9 years applied international public and private sector experience in Risk Management for Occupational Health and Safety. He specializes in EHS Management System development and implementation, on-site hazard identification, detailed risk assessments, and audits. His detailed approach, hands-on experience with each of the EHS disciplines, and strong regulatory experience bring strength to the Audit and Enforcement aspects of the projects.
Brent has held various managerial and advisory positions for Construction, Oil and Gas, and Industrial sectors. While working with the Ontario Ministry of Labour in Canada, he performed the duties of an enforcement officer for the Government, designated to carry out inspections, investigations and consultations of various workplaces. Brent was also appointed to the Regional and Provincial Advisory Committees, advising on legislative, audit, and enforcement initiatives.
In the UAE, among his managerial responsibilities, he was a member of the Dubai Holding Audit Team where he conducted on-site inspections, EHS management system reviews and audits, consultations, and provided recommendations for compliance with local legislation and international best practices and standards.
